Founder and CEO of SALT
Dave Burt

Dave is the Founder and Director of SALT. During his younger years Dave was successful in a range of different sports. For 30 years he was a P.E. teacher and School Chaplain. As the Sports Chaplain and Head of Welfare at the Eastern Ranges Football Club he oversaw the development and maintenance of their core values. Dave has served as the Victorian Co-ordinator for Sports Chaplaincy Australia and the Crisis Response Chaplain for a number of football leagues. Dave is happily married with 3 adult children and has a Masters Degree in Guidance and Welfare.

Operations Manager
Dave Mitton

Dave is part of the SALT team and is currently coordinating the company’s operations. With over 15 years of teaching experience in the UK, China and Australia, Dave has developed a passion to help young men make the most of their lives and become leaders of their communities. He played football at the Lower Plenty Football Club from 1996-2007, including 2 years at the Putney Magpies Football Club in London. Dave now loves spending time with his beautiful family and friends.

Relationships Manager & Women Sports
Carissa Rash

Carissa is the Relationships Manager and looks after Women’s Sport for SALT. She has been a PE teacher for 16 years and has spent her career determined to encourage people to reach their potential. She has a firm belief that being part of a healthy culture is the ideal environment for people to thrive, and believes that sport is the perfect vehicle for bringing the absolute best out in people. Carissa grew up in a small country town where the sporting clubs were the heart of the town. She is now a devoted wife and Mum.

Regional Manager
Travis Colley

Trav has recently taken a role as the Regional Manager of the Bendigo region. Growing up in country Victoria and a current school teacher, he has a strong passion for developing quality young people within country communities. Having played a range of sports (cricket, football, basketball) from a young age and having worked as a Regional Cricket Manager with Cricket Victoria for 5 years, he has a fantastic understanding of grassroots sport and club land operations. In his spare time, Trav spends as much time as possible with his young family and enjoys getting outdoors.

Laurice Temple

Laurice is a Senior Executive change leader with over 25 years of international experience. She has a proven ability to develop business performance through improving culture, implementing organisational change, inspiring and developing winning teams, and achieving results. She is a visionary manager who demonstrates a strong team-building leadership style. She also works with senior leadership teams to develop a culture of diverse thinking to get the best possible outcomes. Laurice has a love of learning and is a business mentor to the SALT team.
